The Ill Informed

The article posted above is in response to the speech President Obama gave at the United Nations about climate change. The author focuses more on bashing Obama's ideas than talking about his beliefs on climate change, but he does talk a little bit about his beliefs on this topic. Basically, he believes that global warming is a hoax and there is nothing we can do that would have a significant impact on global climate change.

He also mentions how the "climate seems to be in a bit of a cooling trend". But as Dr. Husic mentioned in last week's class, climate is something that is measured over a long period of time and is not just about global warming or global cooling. When climate change happens, it effects environments differently. One area can cool, and one can become heated.

In my opinion, I don't think the author is informed enough about the subject in order to give his opinion on the subject. Hopefully the more research and information that is found on climate change, the more informed people will become.
